So I've just decided to start skateboarding again after 3 years (yeah I know, It's been way too long)...
I've purchased this setup:
Plan B deck 7.75"(AJ Ladd)
Independant trucks Lo 5.0, 7.75" (series 10)
Bones 'Reds' Bearings
Ricta Bolts 'White Lightning' 51mm Wheels
(Lucky risers [1/8"], Lucky hardware [1-1/8"])
Jessup Griptape
I've Ridden a Flip deck, Darkstar deck, and MiniLogo deck, and I hear a lot of good things about Plan B's (although I've never seen or ridden one)
I've ridden Royal, Grindking, and Tensor trucks in the past and I liked them all, but the royals were d**n heavy, the grindkings were light but flimsy, and the tensors were average. Anyone have opinions or experience with Independent trucks? A lot of people love them, but a lot of people seem to hate them...
I've used 'Reds' before, and they seemed alright.
I've only ever used Spitfire and Darkstar wheels, how are Rictas? (The ones I got are 51mm, and apparently very hard)
My main concern are the trucks, I'm getting a lot of mixed thoughts about them, a lot of people use indies, but it seems people that haven't used them tend to say "Blahhh they're too heavy and they break!!!)
Opinions, or a rating on this setup, anyone? Thanks a lot.
