My Nextel phone won't let me send/open text messages?

Question

I have unlimited messaging, with picture & video messaging included on my Nextel plan.

Just this morning, I received a text message, so I went to read it, and it wouldn't let me open it. It says "Failed to Receive Message".

I tried to send a text, and the same thing happens. It says "Message Could Not Be Sent!"

I've tried to turn my phone on and off, take the battery out, take the SIM card out, and nothing has worked.

Any help would be appreciated!

my mom has a nextel with unlimited texts but she just cant send them. i don't know what to tell you. there's nothing she can do. i say you should just switch  to sprint or something else.
