Ok, so I had my wii for about 2 months and that's not that long. I remember my cousin tripped on the wire... but it worked for a few days. then it stopped working. The light turns green then turns off. I don't know what to do with it. It defenitly didn't over heat becuz its been weeks. My super smash bros brawl is in there. And I dont want a new wii becuz I worked really hard on my games and the memory will erase. PLEASE HELP ME!!

  1. I would go and send it back to Nintendo first, because they built it they should be able to fix it or if you have a warty on your Wii than return it and they will fix it, but if you don't than you will have to restart everything which really bites and hope it doesn't come to that. Also, you could go to a professional.

  2. take your wii to an electrician and get it checked out.

  3. They're both right:

first, unplug the wii and plug it back in.  This is the universal fix for finicky electronics everywhere.

If that doesn't work, give nintendo a ring and start digging up your receipt and warranty information.  You've only had it for two months, so hardware failure that isn't from an accident is covered.

There isn't any way to get brawl out without voiding your warranty unless you can get the wii to stay powered on long enough to spit it out.  I haven't heard from anyone whether Nintendo returns a game stuck in the console or not.

Don't mention the tripping when you call. :-P

  4. un plug the power and plug it back in i have a wii my wii hase done that
