My Nissan Sunny 1.4 Flamenco LX Auto 1992, Mileage only 41000, is loosing power, it makes so much noise uphill

For the past three months i have been using this car more than normal. First long journey started from London to Manchester 200 miles go and come. After that i got a job 40 miles away from home for 2 months i had to go and come, and now i changed my job to 9 miles away from home in Rickmansworth there are uphills and downhills in Rickmansworth, my car uses so much power to drive in those roads for some reason, i will take it to mechanic in my day off after 2 weeks. before that i like to know is this normal for a car that has never ever given any trouble and only has drivn 41000 miles in its 15 years age?

I think there is a strong possibility that the clutch is slipping.

May just be low transmission fluid.  Your handbook should tell you how to check it.
