My Norton 360 has expired, so I've purchased Norton 2008 should I delete the 360 to install the 2008?

everytime I try to install the 08 it tells me that there still some 360 working.

  1. You should delete the old version. I have done so myself with no problems whatsoever.


  2. absolutely yes. you won't be able to install the Norton 2008 without deleting all the components from Norton 360. if you cannot delete it manually, use a removal tool from the symantec com. itself.

  3. You need to uninstall the previous version. You probably need to download Norton's removal tool. RNAV, in order to completely remove all traces of the previous version.
