My OPT is ending in three weeks. Is it too late to apply green card?

I am getting married to my boyfriend tomorrow. Is it too late to apply a green card? Should I find a language school to support me an I-20 for couple months and apply green card?

What is better? Do i need to leave the country?

What will it happen? If I dont have to leave the country, that is better. PLease help me!

  1. You can apply after you get married.

    Your husband will file I-130, I-864 and G-325A.  You will file I-485, I-765 and G-325A.  File them at the same time, in the same envelope.

    You will be 100% legal while the applications are being processed and you can stay in the United States.

    You'll get a work permit in about 90 days.

    You'll have your green card interview in about 6 months.

    You'll get your green card in the mail in about a year.

    DO NOT LEAVE THE USA WHILE THE APPLICATIONS ARE BEING PROCESSED.

  2. If you are getting married to a citizen, you dont have to worry about becoming an illegal alien not unless it's a fixed marriage which is not lawful.  It's either you go online to uscis.gov or consult an immigration lawyer.
