My Office phone is programed 2 only ring twice. Is there a way 2 make it ring more times?

our office phones are only ringing twice and then going to voicemail. We have inter-tel phones. maybe there is a standard way for all phones to extend the amoint of times it rings. how can i do this?

    Actually, it may only be able to be set with the "call timer" which is apparently set by the installer/administrator of the phone system, as indicated on page 37 of this PDF user guide:

  2. That is usually set in the PBX programming for the phone's COS (Class Of Service).  Every phone on a phone system will have a COS and COR (Class of Restriction) that create a profile of what the phone can and can't do.

    Whomever is your switch tech (PBX programmer) can usually change this.

  3. Look on the side of the phone or underneath. it should give you options on the amount of rings.
