  1. Almost all countries' visa applications ask whether you have previously been denied a visa, denied admission, or deported from any country.  And you have to explain the circumstances.  It does make it more difficult to get visas to other countries, as well as more difficult to enter Thailand on future occasions.

Going through immigration, they look at prior visas, entry & exit stamps, coded notations, etc., in search of overstays, denials, deportations, and other assorted immigration problems.  And authorities in one country can and very often do deny visa &/or entry because the person has been denied elsewhere, or overstayed a visa, etc.  More serious things, like deportation for illegal immigration or long-term visa overstay, can end up with you being persona non grata just about anywhere you might ever want to go.

  2. The rejection will not affect your other travels if you have complete documents.
