  1. I think there is a simple explanation for that, your computer hardware cant take hold of the movies or games that you want to play. Usually when the computer's hardware cannot take on running for example a game then it tends to reboot itself. This could me a problem with the video card or memory. I suggest that you consult a technician about which of your hardware could have a little problem. That can be the ultimate solution.

  2. It would help if you could post the error message you can see when the blue screen comes up.

It might help solve the problem.

Other than that, you could try to reinstall the graphics card driver. Because it sounds like a problem with that. Since the computer only restarts when the graphics card is used (gaming, movies) that could be the reason.

  3. Perhaps your motherboard is kinda old and it is beginning to malfunction due to overheating or depreciation. Try replacing it. Or if not, then there might be a virus in your computer. I recommend you download Avast! It's good and effective.

Or if you don't want any of that, just reformat your computer. Maybe there was some sort of corrupted file in your computer that's causing the blue screen. So, reformatting may get the job done.

  4. Your preferred game or movie might have corrupted. Your windows restart itself to prevent your computer to be damaged by the corrupted game of movie. I try my best to give a best answer. Please give me 10 points so I can reached my next level. Your kindness will be appreciated. More detailed information, You can IM me or just e-mail me.

  5. Could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This  problem can be solved by uninstalling new software, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . From http://fixit.in/bluescreenofdeath.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info

  6. make sure you have the latest updates from windows update and defragment the disk to make sure that the hard disk is not struggling to play the movies and causes a crash. Another problem may be memory or the graphics card which could require an update. I would also use ccleaner to try and clrear out some of the c**p from your computer, uninstall any programs that you no longer use and upgrade any graphics drivers you have.

  7. could be a few things, either two or more applications are attempting to use the same memory or  it's having an issue reading from the hard drive, to begin with goto task manager to see which applications or processes are running, could be something like av, messenger causing the conflict, if theres been an update recently this might explain the new application part of the error. secondly run a thorough scandisk,
