My PC uses 80 GB 7200RPM SATA hard drive and its almost full now.My friend has a surplus 80GB 7200RPM PATA.?

Will it be compatible with my computer?or is it possible to combine Serial ATA hard drive with PATA hard drive as slave?

  1. Yes, no problem. Just make sure the jumper is correctly set up - this depends only on the actual way in which it's connected, nothing to do with the other hd.
