My PS3 controllers do not work unless i have them hooked up 2 the usb cable.both went out at the same time.?

The system is about 1 year4 months old. How likely are both controllers batteries to go out at the same time?

Well what might happen is that your using another wireless gadget that interfering with the controller and that causes the controller to lose connection to the console. I know some blue tooths mics. causes this problem. When getting my ps3 I used a motorola bluetooth and it would cause my controller to freeze up and lose connection, so I had to reconnect the controller so it can reconnect to the console. I think that your problem is there an interferance. Hope you figure out your problem I had my console for over a year and my controller are fine.

well it could have burnt out if its that old. otherwise make sure theyre charged or buy a second USB cable off of amazon or something
