My PSP screen cracked in the corner , the system still works but can I like buy a new screen and replace it?

I brought to school, stupidly, but put in my backpack. I forgot about it and later on I brought it out turned it on and it was cracked. I didn't buy a warranty but instead of probably buying one I was wondering if the was any way possible to fix it. maybe like buying a new screen or something of that kind.

A new screen is very doable.  You can pick one up on eBay for $50 or so, and there's a really nice disassembly walkthrough in the link below.  The screen is one of the first steps, so it should take you less than 30 minutes.  It's harder trying to keep the dust out than it is to replace the screen.  :)
