My Palm 700w has a divit on my screen. do i have to replace the whole screen or is there a protector on it?

i am wondering if i will have to get my entire screen replaced due to what looks like someones finger nail dug in to the plastic part of the screen. it still works fine when i use the stylus. i would just like to have a clean looking screen. so i was wondering if i could just change a plastic protector that covers the screen or if this will need a full screen replacement??

Is there a plastic protector your screen?  If so, that's what those screens are made for.  You remove the plastic film, and replace it with a new film.

I have the Palm Treo 755p and my first purchase for it was a three pack of screen protectors.

Hiya !

Most pieces of equipment like that are designed to have their outter casings replaced if damaged.

Check your instrucion manual for a repair centre in your country or their web-site for your particular make/model - you should be able to get a replacement cover - but it might cost quite a bit so be prepared.
