My Palm TX or T|X wont shut off- someone help me fix this.?

Hello everyone. I own a Palm TX for about a year now. Everything is PERFECT it came with the combo pack so I have the portable keyboard.

After I used my Palm last week, it was fine now I can't shut it off or turn it on using the ON/OFF button at the top. I can turn it on using the 4 smaller buttons on the bottom and I've changed the setting to have it turn off after 30 seconds so I can still use it but the button doesn't work.

Can someone please help me.

Can you turn the palm on using the power button?

if not - you may have some hardware problem with the switch .

if you can turn it on , then its may be  a software issues, which is the easier solution.

If you have a warrenty get it fixed.
