My Panasonic wireless phone is no longer working!!!!!!?

I have a panasonic wireless phone. I left for about 1 year without it working, and after that time its now no more working, the tel hear only.

When I recharge it it appears to be recharging but no sound of recharge comes out.

Is this a problem with the battery or the whole telephone

The battery should have been drained below the rechargeable level. It wont charge anymore. Have have the battery replaced and your phone will be fine.
