My Parakeet sleeps lying on it's front , is this normal?

Pere is a green parakeet that I rescued 3 weeks ago in a park when it flew into a window.

is this the first time youve noticed this and has he moved since then? ive never seen a bird sleep laying down at all. they are usually dead when they are laying down

Some birds just sleep in weird ways, but he could definitely be sick.  You don't know what he's picked up while being outside.  Take him to an avian vet to be safe.

No, this is not normal.  Typically, a bird will sleep on a perch, squatting down, so they can move quickly.
