Question:

My Pfaff 2140 giving message main motor blocked.

My Pfaff 2140 was working fine today when out of the clear blue, without any lockups from threads, I got the main motor blocked message. However, the machine will prepare for various stitches until you push the foot feed and then I get that message. I would have thought something might have the bobbin threads tangled, etc. but not the case. The wheel will turn. Is there anything I can do without having to call an out of town technician and take the machine to be looked at? I suspect it is something simple if I only knew what to try. Thanks, PKD
