  1. By rule a division series cannot take place between teams from the same division.  If the AL finishes as you predict it would be Rays at Angels and White Sox at Red Sox.  That would probably set up the same ALCS that you foresee, but the Angels would likely be the favorite in that series after taking 6 of 7 from the Red Sox this year.  While I can't quibble with your participants in the NL, I think it would be Brewers vs. Cubs in the NLCS.  Your predictions for everything else seem reasonable.  You didn't list an NL ROY.

  2. Hope you are right.  Go cubbies!  Waiting 100 years is long enough.

  3. I agree with everything but the Phillies, they are starting to drift away. Hitting a team combined .196 average in the last 2 weeks. You seem on the ball with the rest of your picks though.

  4. AL East - Tampa Bay Rays

    AL Central - Minnesota Twins

AL West - Los Angeles Angels

  5. AL West: A's (I wish) Angels

    AL Central: White Sox

    AL East: Rays

    AL Wild Card: Red Sox

    NL West: Dodgers

    NL Central: Cubbies

    NL East: Mets

    NLDS 1: Cubs vs Dodgers

World Series: Cubs vs White Sox

Cubs by 1 in Game 7 Amazing Series

MVP: Whoever scored the final RBI

    ROY: Evan Longoria easy

  6. NL East: Mets or Phillies, I will stick with my original choose which is Phillies but it can go either way.

NL central: Cubs. Best team in NL. What else?

NL west: Dodgers. This is a bad but tight devision. Seen D-back playing so poorly lately. Probably dodgers will come out.

NL wild card: Brewers. Second best team in NL. What else?

NLDS: Brewers @ Dodgers, Phillies @ Cubs.

    NLCS: Brewer @ Cubs

    Cubs win.

AL East: Rays. Red sox are not playing well enough to win. I thought they should be on a roll after the break. Not happening yet.

AL central: white sox. Potentially a very strong devision becoming a very weak one. I thought Twins' run could ruin white sox no.1 position earlier this month, but I always believe run differential data. White sox are a better team and they deserve to win.

AL West: Angels. They just dominates the devision.

AL wildcard. Red sox. It is sad to see them at wildcard though. They should win the devision what don't see that happening.

ALDS:  White sox@Rays, Red sox@Angels. Hey man, better record play with hoem advantage (wildcard never have advantage). Revise your list.

ALCS: Red sox@Rays. This one should be cool.

AL Champs: Red sox. Experiences win the playoff games.

WS: Red sox over Cubs in 7. WS MVP: Josh Backett.

NL MVP: Chase Utley. (Sorry about Chippers Jones, Lance Berkman, Albert Pujos. The best hitters in NL are not in the winning teams. If Mets win the devision, David Wright.

AL MVP: You really choose performance over the contribution. I am not sure about AL players but I know Rangers won't have a MVP.

    NL CY: Brandon Webb

    AL CY: Cliff Lee

    AL ROY: You are right.

NL ROY: Jair Jerrijens. Well, I am a Braves fan so I hope they have at least doing something in individual players.

  7. agree with everything but the alds and alcs and nl mvp.red sox arent going to the world series probably not even the alcs.and the cubs are going down to the angels

  8. I agree with your playoff, ROTY, and Cy Young predictions, but I think that Ryan Braun will be NL MVP, and Ian Kinsler wins it in the AL.

    WS=Wrong too.

  9. wrong!!!1!!!!11 cubs miss playoofs with huge choke in sep. and sox win WS!!!!!! GO white SOx WOO!!!!

  10. This decade's been about unexpected teams winning the World Series. The D-Backs, Angels, Marlins, Red Sox, White Sox, and the Cardinals. The Rays are hungry, not sure if they can win it though. People give too much credit to the Red Sox. I would suspect another boring WS with teams like the Rays and the Cubs. The Cubs would be a great story. Hate to hear that the Yankees may not make it this year, oh well. They'll be lethal next year.

  11. Erm the AL is all wrong except for the Angels..the White Sox have been choking it up lately they are something lik 14-26 in their past 40 games and the Twins are starting to get hot again just before their 14 game road trip which the only challenge are going to visit the Angels The White Sox ERA has been way too incosistent since the All Star break it's hovering over 6 and than it will go to mid 5s while Minnesota has managed a 3.70 ERA since the All Star Break...Minnesota is about to get Alexi Casilla back to fill in that much needed hole of thier batting roster which dropped a good .15 BA since he went out with an injury and the Rays will not choke for freak sakes just keep hoping they play low consistent Baseball and probably won't run up the score but will just win by 1 run because thier pitching is awesome the Red Sox will sit comfortably in second place as Wild Card

    Al East Rays

    AL Central Twins

    AL West Angels

    AL WC Red Sox

    Everything else seems okay

  12. you just jinxed the cubs.

    way to go  a$shole

just ask yourself, are these predics what you really think is gonna happen, or what you want to happen?

i say rays win AL East and Sox WC. Rest is good in AL cuz angels cant beat sox in playoffs

NL is almost perfect. phillies have too many probs with chem. AL East go to mets. you need a NY team in the playoffs, thank god it isnt the s****s.

Sox dont lose WS. Sox win WS if they go to WS. If you have Sox go to WS, Sox win WS. Period. Done. See ya later.

Sox over Brew Crew in 4 after strugling with both Rays and Angels in previos playoff series. Sox Destroy the Brew. And Byrd enjoys beating CC

  13. the rays and bosox cant face each other at ALDS.

i agree on everything except that mussina will be the 2nd place in Cy young, not Dice-K

  14. Well, I'm not too big on the stats of different players, so I'm gonna leave all the awards alone.  But this is my prediction for the saeson and playoffs:

    AL West-Angels (1)

    AL Central-White Sox (3)

    AL East-Rays (2)

AL Wildcard-Red Sox (4 because of Wild Card)

    NL West-Dodgers (3)

    NL Central-Cubs (1)

    NL East-Mets (2)

NL WIldcard-Brewers (4 because of Wild Card)

    ALDS:

    -Angels over Red Sox

    -Rays over White Sox

    NLDS:

    -Mets over Brewers

    -Cubs over Dodgers

    ALCS:

    Angels over Rays

    NLCS:

    Cubs over Mets

    World Series:

    Angels over Cubs

    Angels Worlds Series champions.

  15. I don't agree with the AL  Rays will win East Boston will be wild card

Boston and the Rays cannot play in the first round of the playoffs.  Teams from the same division cannot play each other in the first round so your wrong with your predictions from the start.

Ray vs Angels for AL pennant I will root for Rays but expect Angels to win.

NL is the way I expect it to go.

Angels will win the World Series.

I don't care about individual awards.

  16. I agree on everything except the Phillies making the playoffs and Lance Berkman winning the MVP...I'm a Phils fan and theirs no way we are making the playoffs with the way we are playing we look like the worst team in baseball anymore...And Berkman was looking like the MVP a few months ago,but he hit a slump and didn't hit a home run for like over a month and the Astros haven't been that good this year...I think Hanley Ramirez or Ryan Ludwick should win it.

  17. I agree with almost everything exept for the Red Sox and Rays. i would say it would be White Sox VS. Red Sox and Angels VS. Rays

  18. How could the Cubs be at the Dodgers, anyways Braun and Quentin will win the MVP. The Rays will win the East and The Angels will beat the Cubs in 6 To win the WS because they are the best team

  19. THe only problem I have with your playoff picks is that I think the Mets will make it out of the East. It will almost certainly be the sox against the angels in the ALCS, the winner of which I will bet is going to win the World Series.

I do have one big beef though, with this and the fact that no one has mentioned it. Why wouldn't you consider Roy Halladayto be the Cy Young runner up at the very least? He has been , at worst, the second best pitcher in the AL...most certainly he is more qualified for this year's Cy than Matsuzaka

  20. They are pretty good except the world series. The red sox can't beat the angles. So the angels will move on and beat the cubs. It's a no brainer that Josh Hamilton will be the MVP.
