Question:

My Pomeranian Puppy!?

My puppy was as calm as can be until yesterday. He was sooo sweet, he would sit in your lap for hours, and chew on toys for fun. Now he is starting to chew on blankets, when there is a toy right in front of him. When i take him outside, he tries his hardest to get to my female dog(off leash). He doesnt understand the word no anymore. He also wont go to the bathroom outside! I took him outside because he started to p**p in my house, and he just started chasing my dog. Then i took him back inside after 7 minutes(he normally goes in 2 minutes) then i sat him on the couch, and he tried to p**p again. Then I take him back outside he lays down and chews on a stick. He is constantly l*****g me, and chewing on my hands, and shirt. He has barked more today and yesterday, than i've herd him sense i've had him(2 weeks) He was fine before yesterday, he did none of these things.

Any reason why?

Please give things that can help me for the above.

Thanks

P.S. I am sort of loosing patience, when he doesnt listen to me.

  1. Since hes a puppy he will teethe which means that his teeth are starting to grow out and they have to chew on everything to make there theeth not hurt. Soon you might find some teeth fall off and new ones will grow like little children do. If he pees or poops in your house, he probably does it in a certain spot. put news paper or something plastic under so it wont damage your floors.

I have a dog too i got her when she was a puppy too!

    Good Luck!

  2. Well if he tries to pee or p**p in a certain spot, watch to see where he goes. You said you had another dog, right? When you got her, did she go to the bathroom in a certain spot? He might be trying to find that spot, and go to the bathroom there. I had a dog once, and she went to the bathroom in the house once, in one spot. And I got a second dog, and she scoped out the house and found that spot, and tried to go to the bathroom there. But she was housetrained, so she didnt. She just sniffed around it all the time.

But he's a puppy, so I can already bet that you're taking him out every 2-4 hours. When you take him out, bring your other dog in and make sure she's out of sight so he doesn't get distracted. Then let him go to the bathroom, or whatever else he wants to do. Let him run for a minute, so he'll burn of some energy and not be so hyper in the house. That'll make him have to pee more, and he'll do it in the house.

But since he's still a baby, he's probably teething. And yes, they deliberately ignore the toys that you spend all your money on, and go chew on things you DON'T want them to have. I think its in their How To Be A Dog guidebook or something. But yeah, just give him like an old towel or something. Something soft. Or even by him (human) baby toys. I had a Bichon puppy, and we went to Target and bought him the little chicken and duck toys (the plushies) that they give to babies. lol he loved them

He probably just wants to play. If your other dog doesn't get too freaked out, let them play together! He's just a puppy, he's not going to eat her or anything. They'll be fine, just keep an eye on them, to make sure your other dog doesnt hurt him (if she's older/bigger)

It's normal for him to try to get to her. He sees another dog, he automatically wants to go to it. That goes for any dog. They want to see eachother and see what they are.

    Good Luck

  3. I also have a pomeranian.

It's perfectly normal for a puppy of his age.

He just wants to play and have fun.

Just give him some time and he will settle down.

My dog is 15 and she is the sweetest dog I've ever met.

    And she's mine :)
