  1. if ur pup is use to wearing a collar try walking him with the leash and at first let him drag it around giving it little tugs to get him to go where u want him to.if he acts up and starts whining and pulling back u might want to get him a harness that he will grow into. i use them on all 3 of my dogs and i find i have more controll over them and they don't choke.my little poochi is so scared of anything around his neck and will not tolerate it so the harness is the only way he can get out and enjoy his walks with my two bigger dogs. he still pulls and chokes at times trying to keep up but at least he doesn't refuse to walk and once he gets going his little legs can move. good luck.

  2. just go out and buy a regular nylon collar, nothing to big make sure it fits properly.

harnesses encourage pulling, best to use collars.

  3. just get a regular collor eveything will be fine but not to big u dont want it to get out and not to small u dont want to choke your dog

  4. There is a third option that is actually best--it's a humane lead, which fits around the dog's muzzle.  That way if they try to pull away, all they do is turn their head--they can't strain and possibly hurt themselves, and it's easier on you.

  5. No harnesses. All they do is train your dog to pull.

Any collar should be fine, make sure its not a cat collar which aren't very strong, and make sure when you pick it out the clasp is strong and can't be pulled open.

You should be able to fit two fingers under the collar. Don't make it to tight.

  6. For now best is the collar, after you will see.......
