Question:

My Purex 400 Minimax pool heater doesn't ignite unless I turn the pilot off and then turn it on.

On its own, it will attempt to start the heater but fails. Sweeper pressure is 28PSI. There are also bubbles in the sweep after it turns on. I assume it is not the pilot since I can start it manually. Any suggestions?

  1. Sounds like you have a work around.  Turn the pilot off and turn it back on.
