I have a Computer with a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R mainboard CPU Q6600 at 2.4 GHz. Not overclocked (yet :D)(with the stock fan)

The temperatures are to high i think. With Speedfan i realised that the temperature from my Q6600 is 50 C.

Core 1=50

core 2=49

core 3=50

core 4=48

and that on idle. My PC case Thermaltake Armor series.

I think the problem is with the fan.

Have anybody an idea? Why are the temperature so high?

P.s: Sorry for my bad english

P.S.2: Do you know a good liquid or thermoelectric cooling system?

Thank you...

  1. I have mine at 3.0GHz and is running around 45C i'm using the zalman 9700nt and i think my temps are OK, as for yours i strongly suggest you change your stock cooling and get either the Thermal Right ultra extreme or one like mine, as for TEC cooling the Titan amanda is pretty good, for water cooling go for thermaltake or zalman they are the best.

    GOOD LUCK
