  1. You were dumb enough to get caught knowingly violating the rules of campus. You have absolutely no right to complain in this situation and are lucky you're getting off this easy. Honestly, it's not hard to drink in a dorm without getting caught, did you leave your door open or something?

  2. What is an RA?

  3. Sounds like you have a dry campus, which means its the schools right to dispose of any alcohol found, and punish those responsible.  If you don't want to pay $100 for this class, you can choose to, but don't complain if they kick you out of the dorm, or even the school.   Its a privlidge to go to college, not a right.  this is true if you are over or under the legal limit, check your school's policy guidelines you should have been issued when you started living on campus.

  4. There is nothing you can do, You live on private property and they set the rules. I am sure it is listed in your dorm agreement. They will most likely expell you if you are caught again. Take the class and be happy they didn't punish you more severely for your first offense.

  5. It certainly is not a scam, and it's not even an outrage. Even if you are 21, most college dormitories are dry because of the majority being underage. If you are under 21, you should consider yourself lucky that they are not filing MIP charges and putting you on probation. If you look through the Housing contracts for your school, you'll find that you have probably violated it. Pay the fine, take the class, and in the future, hide your beer better. When I lived in the dorms I had a backpack I kept in my closet with my alcohol in it.

  6. LOL

No scam there just punishment in the form of rehabilitation.

You need to be covert as to  not be caught.

  7. take your medicine they are giving you a break

I suspect you are under 21 as you live in a dormitory.

you are lucky they have not expelled for breaking both the law and university by-laws
