My RC helicopter don't have enough lift!?

it's a micro helicopter, one of those indoor ones. called a "dragonfly", it's basically a ripoff of a "picco z". it's the first one I've ever owned so I know nothing about rc or helicopters.

when I give it maximum thrust it just barely manages to hover in place, I can't make it lift up. I don't know if you can bend the wings to give it more lift or what?

  1. Yeppa, grab the vanes and give them a twist to a greater angle then try it again. Not too hard OK butterfingers?

  2. I told you already in the other question!

The main reasons of the helicopter not being able to lift off is:

Low Battery- Change the batteries in the controller and charge again.

Broken Main Blades- The blades are not catching enough air

Improper Pitch- Blades are tilted improperly and not making the helicopter lift off

Defective Battery- The battery inside the helicopter itself is puffed and not able to withhold a charge from the controller, thus not able to put enough voltage into the motor.

So... that you know.... The next thing i will say is....

There is nothing really you could do but change the batteries in the controller. Do not attempt to remove the battery in the helicopter for many health and safety reasons. Bending the wings won't do anything... I think... you could try... but please do not break it. Try exchanging it or return it. Returning it is my best advice. If you do return it, please purchase the Air Hogs Havoc. Those are the best ones out there right now that is similar to what you have.It is $30 USD. So yea... that is all I could tell you right now.
