  1. FYI  RCA has some LCD audio issues caused by a surface mount 500Ma fuse (technician repairable only).  I'm not sure if your model number fits the bill or not---I dont have access to rca stuff at night---might try calling a local rca service center and ask them to search the bulletins for this model and symptom (audio abnormality)

  2. Hi,

Is it coming from your tv's speakers or the LCD itself? To check this you would need to cut your tv's internal amplifier off by going into the tv's menu. If you hear the noise when the speakers are off, then it is coming from the LCD display. If it is coming off the speakers then you have got an audio issue. The audio and video in you tv is seperated so their is no any conflicts by electronics connections inside. I would guess when the bass is high, it causes some vibrations inside your tv causing other components to shake which may be responsible for the high pitched electronic noise. If you like so much bass why not do what I have done at my place. I know you have at least a stereo at your place, why not connect the audio from tv to the stereo and listne through the stereo and you'll have no vibration in the tv. Find you tv's audio line out and find your stereo's audio line in connect both with R and L RCA cable. Now you can keep the tv's speakers off and adust the volume by using the stereo.

    Good luck!
