oh you should have started doing that when she was a year old, or at 3 inches! I feed my RES every other day. Half his diet is protien based, the other half vegetation based. For the protien part of his diet i feed him reptomin pellets and other pellets, crickets, shrimp, krill, mealworms, bloodworms and sometimes fish. The other half of his diet is vegetation based i feed him kale, mustard greens, collard greens and romaine lettuce. All of the food is dusted twice weekly with a calcium supplement. You also need to put in a cuttlebone for extra calcium in the tank. Good luck, and remember not to overfeed your turtle!

yes you should   and remember RES eat like pigs they dont know when to stop
