My Rat's In Labor! PLease Healp?!?

i have came home day time! and i put my figer in her nest and she dident attack it and i herd squecks so i lifted up the roof of her nest and i saw atlest two babies after that i have just left them and listened to hear if she is in pain, is there anything else i need to do, am i doing the right thing?! (its pretty silent)

  1. dont stress about the lack of blood - i believe rats are one of the many animals that eat the placenta immediately after labour for its nutritional value


  2. Rats don't need any help to breed. Getting them not to breed is the trick. Figure that one out and you'll get a Nobel Prize.

    But, congrats with your pet. She'll be fine. Just feed her well, she'll do the rest.

  7. She'll be fine, they'll know what to do instictively. Just don't touch them if you touch them they'll abandon it. Congratulations ^^

  8. she probely licked up all the blood so there wasd no mess good luck with the babie pinkies :)
