My Resume?

I am writing my first resume and i have a few questions.

1. How do i list the millions of church and school plays/productions i have been in? How recent do they need to be? The problem is that most of them weren't based on famous plays.

2. How do i list all of my voice training with chorus/opera groups, voice lessons, etc?

3. I will be taking drama in high school, can i list it as soon as it starts?

btw, its just mainly these questions because i have the everything other than experience and training down

btw, this would be something to send in, not for theater

  1. i reccomend u do something like this.....i don;t think it matters to be honest on how recent, or famous they maybe. If you KNOW you are taking the drama class put it down.....you keep the same resume for an agent or audition...wheater it's theater or not...

  2. IF YOU GO TO THE PUBLIC library WILL FIND FIND GOOD BOOKS ON HOW TO WRITE GOOD RESUMES.

  3. list every single one of them and what character you played!

write it all down! it would show you have lots and lotds of experience and that could really help you but i wouldnt list something you havent finished yet!

    your choice though

    good luck but you should

get an agent! do auditions! get headshots!

    actinginfo.blogspot.com

    acting411.blogspot.com

    hannahmontanacasting.blogspot.com

and for an agent go to talentagents.blogspot.com and scroll down till you find city nearest you

read everythign you see! and click on words in blue but not double udnerlined ones and i suggest that you sign up with alan baltes go to first site and look at right column it explains everything! he wont be an agent just help you out and its a one time fee of 30 dollars and totally worth it!please do not report mee ok i am not doing anything bad and this isnt spam or solicitation its not my site!i just copy and paste my answer cause its teh same for every question and sometimes i alter it! whats wrong with that?\

to see an example of a resume go to first site click where in  blue it says headshot and resume and if you want to see the begginers resume keep scrolling!

    goodluck!

  4. 1. Just mention from the most recent and most important to the least...but not more than 5-6 in all. For the rest just give the number.

    2. Same thing, but make sure u put in some more details.

    3. yes definitely. you gotta. it sure adds up to your credentials.

  5. most people dont look for theatre stuff

    but

you would list the organization and year

    for example

    st. johns theatre program 1999-present

  6. You do not list such activities unless they have a direct relation to the job you are applying for. Most employers are looking for related experience not every experience. Limit your experiences to things that would make you good at the job you want. Voice training would not impress unless you were applying for singing radio jingles or something.
