My Retainers, does it matter...?

well i got a set thats my regular and a set that i think were called my "night guard" and there basically the same thing but a lil different does it matter which i wear?

The nightguard or plastic tray set provide a few great benefits. They will fit longer if your teeth shift, they help relax your jaw joint from pressures of clenching or grinding during sleep, and they prevent wear and breakage of teeth from clenching/grinding. You orthodontist may have seen wear patterns that made him/her think you needed this prevention.

My friend has the same as you, and she only wears hers at night. It depends really, i'd wear the regular set for a week during the day and then the night guard through the night up until you dont need them.
