My Router is missing an antenna?

i'm thinking of getting a USB network adaptor for my desktop upstairs...

do you think it will connect with my router even though its missing the antenna?

well u can get a replacement booster antenna for any router probably at any computer store or best buy might have it (try walmart)  it just ataches right whare yr old one was no prob

what is on the picture? some routers are made without antennas
