My SATs are on the horizon... How can I be ready?

have a few weeks before I start my Junior year of high-school, and will probably be taking my SATs at the end of the year. This is the most important test of my entire life, so I need to start studying and preparing because I plan to score a perfect 2400. I'm looking for any advice on what things I need to study, how much I need to study, where to study from, etc. ANY advice you are willing to give me will be appreciated more than you can imagine.

If you need any information about me or my classes, just e-mail me or ask here in the question and I'll tell you.

or you can just wish me good luck if you like :D I'll need it

  1. go to the bookstore and buy the collegeboard book sat study guide hope that helps

  2. Go to a good book store in your area and by the prep-guides available there.

  3. First off, there is no need to "plan on" a 2400.  Even kids who get perfect scores don't get in to every school where they apply, and acceptance has to do with a lot more than scores. (Most will tell you the most important piece is the rigor of you course load and your grades).

That said, I took the SATs this past spring, and found that with preparation they really aren't that daunting.  Start off by signing up for the SAT Question of the Day at collegeboard.com.  I would also really recomend taking a prep, course.  I used Revolution Prep and raised my score from an 1860 to a 2150. Even if you don't do a course, I think the best preparation is just taking a lot of practice tests. Good Luck!
