My SNES, supernintendo, only shows up in black and white?

Question

I've tried 3 different tvs. Two different SNES systems and still it shows up in black and white. I've tried it with coaxial cables and AV cables. Why is this happening? What am I missing here?

its probably because its so old and worn out. i have 1 that ive had for about  10yrs and it blacks out every now and then. its probably just old age

try cleaning the games with alcohol .... and also the slot you put the game in ..... dirt and dust can s***w things up ... other than that .. try adjusting the color on your tv set ... I'm tryin' here .. I've just never seen this  problem with an old snes system ... good luck .

      My son and I agree ... the SNES is still the best system .. and my kid has them all.
