My Samsung Blast won't read my micro sd card!?

I recently got a Samsung blast and a micro sd card to use with it. I loaded the card on my computer, but the phone won't recognize the content. It acknowledges the card, but says it's empty. Any ideas?

  1. What kind of files are you puting on?  Like mp3 or nth or jpeg?

    And I have a Kingston micro sd card for my blast.
