My Samsung SC-D23 Mini DV Digital Camcorder is only showing a black screen when i try to record -HELP!!!!?

you can seel like this whitish grayish kinda light in the corner but if you cover the lens the screen is completely black

  1. this is hard to troubleshoot remotely. your symtoms indicate complete defocus. Are you SURE you have a lens still attached to the front of the camera? Is there any posibility that the lens got immersed in water?  Did it get hit hard enough to knock the CCD lose?


  2. Check with Samsung support for repair options!!
