My Samsung u600 keeps freezing when typing a text?

I type about 1 line of text and then it freezes, always when I press the button for space. Last week it did the same, freezing after I'd typed 3 characters, but I just deleted some texts in my inbox and it was ok. After it freezes I have to take off the battery and switch it on again. I've tried deleting all my texts and its still freezing, I'm on an 18 month contract so only had it for a year and still have to use it for 6 months before I can upgrade! What can I do to stop it freezing?

  1. If youre on contract go to the place you bought it and ask them to take a look at it. It should be free.

  2. I have a U600 to and i can't wait for the day that my contract runs out lol. I got mine from virgin and so far in the last 11 months i think ive sent it back 2 or 3 times, at least once for the exact same problem your having.

I'm afraid to say it's just a fault with the phone, well thats what they told me anyways. Mine used to freeze in between writing on predictive text and now it doesnt even save my inserted words which is a pain in the ****.

All you can do is ring up the network provider and tell them and they should come round and collect it and sort it out for you free of charge.. Hoped i helped a little, good luck with the next 6 months lol

  3. Give your network provider a call as they will usually fix the phone free of charge. Your phone probably needs a software upgrade which you can usually download off the phone manufacturers website but you will need to install the programs off the cd that came with the phone. Hope this helps.
