My School Uniform Polo Issue?

Question

Here is my problem: I go to a school that requires a uniform and the polo's(shirts...lol) have sizing issues.....

Basically the Adult Medium is really baggy for some reason and the Adult small is ridiculously small(like made for a second grader...lol)

Is there anyway I could shrink my shirt to make it like a small medium?

Polo(Shirt) Info: It is a polo type shirt, like with a collar, short sleeved...and 60% Cotton, 40% Polyester...

Do you simply have to buy a certain brand?  If you do, I hate to say it but because of the polyester the shirt won't really shrink.  If you could find a different brand maybe it would fit you better and/be all cotton and you could shrink it a little.  That being said, even if it was all cotton it wouldn't shrink that much.  Plus, to really shrink something you need to wash it with hot water and dry it on high and this makes your clothes fade something awful.  So I wouldn't recommend it.

Maybe it'll shrink in the dryer.
