  1. Farmed fish gets a bad rap for no reason, they are just as good and tasty as wild fish, like mussels and salmon, it is a way to preserve the species and allow more to be available.

    Quality wise there is no real difference, they just harvest them like salmon at a certain time and age for a consistant size and quality factor.

    I am a former chef and have used many types of farmed fish and would be more apt to use them then wild if given the choice.


  2. farmed I believe is just not wild.  They net an area in the ocean and raise the bass there.  the quality is good taste is slightly different
