My Second Guinea Pig?

Question

My guinea pig Casey, has been a little lonley so I want to get him a Buddy! First of all I spent 180$ on him and his cage and all of his food and all that so I have about 5 dollars left. His cage isnt really big.

So what should I do?

How would I introduce him?

What do I need for the other guinea pig?

My guinea pig is a boy and I want another boy will they fight?

Please help me!!!! I am a first time guinea pig owner. And I want casey to be happy with his new buddy and his buddy to be happy without them fighting and me having to take them to the vet...

Well if your guinea pig is young you shouldnt have a problem with fighting but keep a very close eye on them

and i just got my second piggie today so to introduce them have someone else with you and sit on the floor and have someone hold one of your piggies and you hold the other and let them notice each other if they fight pick one of them up

and the other piggie keeps your first one company your supposed to have two guinea pigs

get one from the humane society, all of them there I think are nuetured. Plus at mine humane society they only cost $10

If you get another male guinea pig, they will definitely fight once they reach maturity.

if they are baby males then its probably they wont fight,but if they are adults they may fight,but get him the other piggy and if they fight separate them,try to get the other one already neatured so they dont figth over dominance,but if this is not possiblethe just spend all the time you can with him so he doesnt get lonely,wish you luck on the decision you take and i hope this helps
