This year my school is starting the "Senior Project" where it gives you the chance to do anything you want and follow a dream that you thought you would never be able to do. You have to write a paper and do a project- I had two ideas to share with my teacher- 1. Writing a short novel. 2. putting together an organization to help save the polar bears. Then my teacher said I should put both together. I could write my research paper over how to get a book published and the write my novel over polar bears.. but honestly who's going to read a book about information on polar bears? So what I'm asking you is what are some ideas I could write my book over? My idea was having it be fiction based off true events.. say the main character is a wild life saver and he has to go to the north pole to help save the polar bears and he has some obstacles to over come along the way.. so if you have any examples or ideas like that you would reallllly be helping me out so much! Thank you for whoever answers this! you're a true life saver! :-)

  1. On his way to a set up in the pole where people are planning to harm polar bears, you could have your charachter get lost in the north pole, run out of food, and have no shelter.  Over time he has to find ways to survive and begins to wander if the polar bears are worth it and if he shouldn't just turn around and head back to where he came from, whether than wonder aimlessly to find where he is going.  Then he can be saved by a polar bear.... led by it to it's home, from where the character is able to find the people he was looking for.  He convinces the people that if the bears can be kind and gentle towards humans, even trusting enough to bring them home, why do they want to harm them?
