My Sifu got attacked by 10 men, and he beat the cr@p out of them. Does that make him qualified to be a Sifu?

  1. If that's true and they had some skill, then it makes him a skilled martial artist. The ability to "beat the cr@p" out of people is NOT what makes someone qualified to be a teacher. There is far more to being a valuable and knowledgable sensei than being about to beat people up.


  2. 10 people? he must have a attitude from h**l huh?  I can just see it now, your Sifu is just walking his french poodle to the park and he sees three homeless men and says, "Hey you homeless people get out of my park".  So the homeless guys go and get 7 friends who are all masters at "Drunken Moneky" style.  Then the fights on!!  Local T.V. news crews show up right in the middle of the 5 hour fight epic and Mr. Sifu there is just slicing through one homeless person after the other just like "Billy Jack" did in that 70's movie.  

    And let me guess I'll bet Mr. Sifu never got a scratch either and even showed a few homeless people their own hearts right before they died like "Bruce Lee" did in that one 70's movie.

    Now he spends his days seaching for his lost French Poodle and living a lonely life hanging up reward posters all over town huh?

  3. Well not neccessarily. Teaching ability is not linked to how good a fighter you are.

    Plus a very good instructor will have special equipment such as pad, gloves, puching bad, ring, depending on what style he teaches.

    also a great person in general.
