My Sims 2 game crashes...(PC)?

Anyone know what's wrong with it or why it does this? I had alot of custom content on it but I deleted most of it already and it still crashes but after about 30mins and not 10mins. Is there any way to tell if custom content is bad or not? What should I do? I don't really want to get rid of custom content....

actually if you take your entire downloads folder and move it to your desktop then start the game and see if it crashes. If it does than its not your custom content if not than its something in that folder and you'll have to weed through it ( which is really annoying I know)

It's most likely you have a bad piece of CC. You can probably weed it out. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

What happens when it crashes? It could be your graphics card or your computer.
