My Sims Wii Essences

Question

Ok I decided I got kinda bored about Endless Ocean so I went back to My Sims. Well I'm low on the metal essences. My question is where do you find the metal essences at?

If you ever need to find the location of a particular essence, just ask the person you are building the object for. That person will tell you where to find the essence you need.

there is a cave thats hidden somewhere but idk where it is because i havent played it in a while but its somewhere in the forest i think

metal down the trees that grow robots, springs and gears. when you metal them down they will produce metal. than if you have robots, springs and gears, replant them and repeat the process until you get enough metal.

also if you have problems finding certain essences, ask the person who you got the task from, they will give you a hint
