My Sister ALWAYS putting ME DOWN!?

Question

I really want to be a singer and an actress, but I'm always getting putt down because of it.

My sister says that I will never be able to accomplish anything I do in life, and that putts me down a lot.

I want to go out there and explore life, but hearing all those things my sister says about me makes me think...why bother...is she right?

Is she just being mean? Does she mean it? Is she jealous?

I really want to be it, she says I'm a c**p actor, but my friends think different, she says I'm a c**p singer, my friends think diffrent!

Are my friends just saying that?

I really need to no!

Listen, sibbling rivalry is normal. look at it this way , every famous singer  started out like you.They werent born famous.Anything is possible if you work very hard.Hold on to your dreams, and be nice to your sister anyway.Right now she can"represent" the bad fan in a crowd.Every famous singer no matter how good they are have some who doesnt like them.I say work, work, work for your dreams, but dont forget to enjoy life too.

find a best friend and ask them what they honestly think. your sister should NOT be saying stuff like that to you! it would never be true.

I am sorry to say this but your sister is so jealous of you.

Your sister is afraid you will be more important than she is.  She will put you down as long as she is the no 1.  I think you should go for it.

Go and explose do thinks without your sister.  Get away from her and forget about her sillyness.

Are your sister older than you are?

I guess you could say that the people around you, especially your family, play an important part in you decision-making.  You remind me of my cousin. She and her older sister don't get along either.  At all.

To dream about our future is actually pretty normal.  It's actually pretty adventurous of you to dream of being a singer and actress.  I think it's cool.

Your sister probably has a reason for saying those things.  If she doesn't, it's just wrong.  She should try to encourage you.  Try asking for others' opinion.  That's why we should try looking at the positive side of life, instead of focusing on the negative things.
