My Songwriting?

Question

want to write my songs as good as 'Bubbly' and 'Bless The Broken Road' what are some good tips, I really want to get better!!!

here's a sample:

Why is it everytime I think I understand that 5 minutes later I'm confused again?

Why is it no one will help me out?

Why is it no one will teach me how to swim?

Cause I'm lost in a sea of confusion and I can't help but feel all alone

I'm lost in a sea of confusion

I have no where to go and nowhere to hide

I'm lost in a sea of confusion

and I wish that someone would help me out

Why does everything seem to go my way? Then 2 minutes later people are wrecking it up?

Why can't people just let me be? Why can't people just let me live my life the way its supposed to go...

Mmmmh Yeah, the way its supposed to go...

I live my life happily just like I dreamed, I would do someday, so why can't people dream their own dreams, and just leave mine alone...

I love the second one. Especially the part that you wrote:

This definately appeals to me because oh man.. You have no idea how true that is and how it has suits my life right now.
