My Sony Cybershot DSC-W55 doesn't read my memory stick.?

When I put my Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo in, it doesn't read that it is there. I can save photos, but only to my camera, not my memory stick.

Please help me with this problem, I'm going away soon and need a answer quick!

  1. maybe your memory card is locked


  2. Did you format the card?

    Use the format feature on your camera to format the card and then be sure you tell the camera to save your image files to your external memory
