My Sony Digital camera's shutter is stuck, what do I do? 10 Points

I did not drop it, it ran out of charge while it was on, and it got stuck, and now I can't take pictures.

Please help.

Have you tried taking out the battery for a while and then re-inserting it?

You could also try taking it to the store and test with another known working battery. If it works with another battery, chances are your battery is dead.

If all fails, then your only option is to send it in for repairs/warranty or buy a new unit.
