My Sony car stereo turns on and off while driving but comes back on when I completely stop. Whats wrong?

I've had this happen to me before. I dunno whether you have a system or not but if you do then the problem is with your battery. Ive got a sony system and headunit and all that stuff. When we hooked up all my stuff to my car we disconnect the battery to put the wire on. The amp would drain my battery and Ive had the music completely stop while driving, and start back up when I stopped. Turns out that theres a wire or cord on the alternator - the battery wasnt getting charged and a dangerously low battery would shut off the music. So you might just have a dead battery, maybe a loose or bad alternator. Also if that doesnt work then check and replace your fuses that have to do with the radio/stereo/whatever. Good luck bro
