My Sony laptop isnt working right Please!! READ DISCRIPTION!?

My Sony laptop (i think) got infected by a virus but ive cleaned it multiple times and i dont think it had a virus. Now the internet is really slow and like the videos and pictures and alot of the graphics dont work and my internet is really slow. How do i fix my internet? I really think that it has to do with some setting. i tried to do the System Repair (under Accecories) but the last step before it starting doenst work... I have no idea at all what to do now...

You may be infected with spyware and viruses. I recommend AVG Free Editon and SUPER Antispyware.

If this doesn't work, set your settings to default.If these two don't work, it may be a major problem. You would have to put all of your files on a hard drive using the windows utility back up in the Control Panel under Performance and Maintenance. You would then have to format your hard drive. Everything will be lost by doing this. Another option is to use your recovery discs if you have any. Good luck in finding the problem!
