My Sub cuts in and out after a certain volume all levels and cables have been checked?

  1. it could be a limitation of the equipment, a safty measure to prevent destroying the sub. have you brought it to a professional? maybe try calling Pioneer. i doubt you have blown you speaker, because that wolud make a distorted sound at all levels, not just high. It may also be the power supply. It takes a good amount of power to operate a speaker (especially big ones)

  2. if it cuts out when you turn it loud its probably because its too much power for the sub/amp to handle

  3. 1. group wire is not properly secured

    2. or you could have damaged or popped the main fuse on the power wire thats connected to the battery

    most likey a poorly grouned wire if it cuts in and out and does not completely shut off

    if it completely shuts off the amp light will turn red (protection) because of excess power

  4. Have you also checked the speaker wire inside the box.. There may be a problem with those wires. Or you may want to check the output of your amp...

  5. whats about the ground wire on your amp or cd player have u checked that its probably not touching any metal
