The lights are somewhat annoying at night because they produce a glare on the windows. I keep them switched off usually. Ive heard that blue lights are illegal on cars in my state(N.C) because they emulate police lights. Is this a fact? Also how loud can you play the music before getting stopped by the cops? Im aware of(and respect) that it annoys other drivers around me so I keep it low in the city and at intersections.

I have a clean driving record at age 27 and I would like to keep it that way. What info do you have about this? Thanks.

  2. Simply read your state's laws regarding neon's and general lighting because from what I have found there is nothing at this time but they are tying to write it into law.

North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles

    Driver Licensing & Title/Registration: (919) 715-7000

  3. ask the authorities

  4. Blue is illegal in NC.

even fire departments arent allowed to have blue.

As for the radio, If it can be heard 50 feet away from the car, they can get you.

some neighborhoods have ordinances were its lowered to 20 or 30.
